The Sri Lanka America Chamber of Commerce stands to gain extensively from Mrs. Perera’s academic background as a Management Accountant and professional experience as a Financial Analyst of a multinational pharmaceutical company. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the United Kingdom.

Mrs Perera also has over fifteen years of experience in the childcare industry in the United States. She is currently the Director of two childcare centers in Las Vegas.
